Standart Smart Start System for $439.99 installed with Autostart Remote Start allows you to start your car from your smartphone, lock and unlock your doors and gives you visual confirmation on your phone’s screen.  See list of the included features below.  We have many remote starts and alarm/remote starts that will work with the Smart Start.  Our packages begin at $439.99 + tx installed for the Smart Start installed with the AutoStart AS1475U remote start system installed.  The Smart Start requires an additional subscription fee of $50 per year or $100 for 3 years for unlimited service paid to DEI (Directed Electronics) the manufacturer and administrator of the Smart Start program.  Either Smart Start module can be paired with any of the AutoStart remote start systems we carry.  Call 816-356-87800 for more info.

  Advantages of smart phone remote car starting:
  1.  As much range as you want or need to remotely start vehicle, even with entry level remote start system
  2.  Ability to unlock or lock vehicle from anywhere – great if keys are locked in car
  3.  Locate vehicle available with GPS system
  4.  Alarm notification on your smart phone if alarm goes off (alarm must be compatible with App hardware installed in vehicle)

  1.  Cost – the above smart phone hardware installed and activated will add around $250 or more  to the cost of your remote start system.  This includes a smartphone app activation fee the manufacturer charges you directly for administering the data communications program between your car and your phone that varies  from around $50 to $89.95 per year depending on which system you buy.  The exact fee depends on extras like GPS parking assist to full GPS Tracking.
